Arrival in Cairo
Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by our guide and representative who will assist you with customs procedures and collecting your luggage. From there, you will be transferred directly to your hotel. After checking in, enjoy lunch at the hotel. Later, have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
Cairo
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel as we embark on our first day of exploration in the sprawling city of Cairo, the largest in Africa. Our journey
commences with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, the primary gateway to gaining a clear and comprehensive understanding of ancient Egyptian history. Next, we’ll continue to a papyrus factory to learn about this ancient form of papermaking. We’ll break for lunch to refuel.
Now, it’s time to witness the only remaining Wonder of the World, the Pyramids of Giza, and the enigmatic Sphinx. From a vantage point, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking panoramic view of the three pyramids with the Sphinx in the background. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.
Cairo- Luxor
After breakfast, we will transfer to Cairo airport for our domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in the beautiful city of Luxor, our day’s exploration begins with visits to the magnificent Karnak and Luxor temples. Following our temple tour, we will head to our cruise ship for a relaxing lunch, and later, enjoy a delightful dinner and an overnight stay onboard.
Luxor
After breakfast, we will embark on a visit to the Valley of the Kings, where we will explore the ancient tombs of pharaohs. Next, we’ll visit the impressive Hatshepsut temple and the iconic Colossi of Memnon on the west bank of Luxor. En route back to the East Bank, we’ll make a stop at an Alabaster Factory to discover the local craftsmanship.
Returning to our cruise ship, we’ll set sail towards Edfu, enjoying dinner and spending the night onboard as we continue our Nile River journey.
Edfu -Kom Ombo
Following breakfast, we’ll embark on a unique adventure to the Edfu Temple, traveling by horse-drawn carriage to explore this well-preserved ancient site. Afterward, we’ll return to our cruise ship for lunch as we sail towards Kom Ombo.
In Kom Ombo, we’ll visit the unusual double temple dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god. It’s a fascinating archaeological site with a unique historical significance.
Continuing our journey, we’ll cruise towards Aswan, where we’ll arrive in the evening. Enjoy dinner and spend the night onboard the ship in Aswan.
Abu Simbel-Aswan
Early wake-up call and then you’ll have a packed breakfast. Afterward, you’ll embark on a journey through the Nubian Desert to Abu Simbel, where you will visit the temples of Ramses and Neferatari. These temples were saved by UNESCO during the construction of the High Dam. Later in the day, you will drive back to Aswan.
In the afternoon, a boat trip will include a visit to the Agha Khan Mausoleum and the Elephantine Island. Lunch and dinner will be served on board.
Aswan-Cairo
After having breakfast and disembarking from the ship, we will commence our day with a visit to The High Dam and Philae Temple. In the afternoon, a leisurely stroll through the city markets. You’ll have some free time to explore on your own until we transfer to the airport for our flight back to Cairo. Dinner and overnight stay.
Cairo- Departure
After breakfast and check-out, we’ll visit Old Cairo and the Hanging Church. We’ll make a stop for lunch and then proceed to the airport for our outbound flight back home.
